The antibiotic batumin is a new, highly effective drug that we have obtained for the treatment of staphylococcal infections. It has no analogues among the known groups of antibiotics. The introduction of batumin will replenish the market of national pharmaceuticals which are essential for the treatment of a number of purulent and inflammatory skin processes, burns and wounds. 

Revenue is expected to come from the sale of batumin as an active pharmaceutical ingredient.
