The runflat technology is designed to ensure safe driving and to keep the vehicle moving in the event of a sudden puncture.
The system creates additional space between the rim and the tire, maintains ground clearance, and keeps the tire from slipping and coming apart while driving. In the event of a tire puncture at speed, the machine remains in control and can continue to move. Also, the machine is equipped with run-flats and can continue driving if it is impossible to stop to replace damaged wheels, which is extremely important in extreme conditions.
