The main goal of this project is to develop an innovative design of seasonal batteries that use the process of phase transformations in the stored material. This design is aimed at solving the problem of avoiding the destruction of the contact elements in the battery structure during the phase change. 

Thanks to the elastic shell, the battery design can withstand volume changes associated with phase transformation, ensuring structural integrity and durability. Seasonal batteries are designed to store and release significant amounts of thermal energy over long periods, usually spanning entire seasons. By harnessing the power of phase transitions, these batteries have a number of advantages, including the ability to store large amounts of thermal energy in a relatively compact space. 

The proposed design would use a storage material that undergoes phase transformations, such as solid-to-liquid or solid-to-gas transitions.
